Job Profile :
As Research Analyst, you focus on supporting our organisation and clients involved in shipping. Supporting the segment responsible Research Managers, you analyse drivers of international trade, growth markets and industry trends. Additionally, you are responsible for a number of key administrative processes, and, for example, take the lead in completing our weekly and monthly market reports
- Forecasting future market developments through development and/or maintenance of demand–supply models
- Analysing and forecasting newbuilding and second-hand vessel prices as well as freight rates
- Preparing, writing and further developing our market reports portfolio
- Mapping major demand drivers within tanker shipping
- Preparing customer presentations as well as studies and analyses of the upcoming trends and changes to markets
Who we are looking for:
- A master’s degree in economics, international business, finance, macroeconomics, mathematics or similar, or alternatively a bachelor’s degree in shipping
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong interest in international trade, macroeconomics, time series analyses and shipping
- Absolute proficiency in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of forecast modelling, data collection, data integration, data management and analysis as well as simple finance and investment calculations

Position: Trainee Shipbroker and Trainee Vessel Operator

Key Responsibilities:
Database input, vessel position maintenance, client record keeping
Learning and understanding the relationships between various clients and their roles to the industry on a global basis
Assisting senior brokers and operators
Ensuring high performance and maintaining a strong customer base
-Negotiating voyage charters/charter parties on spot/COA basis
Key Skills :
An interest in shipping
Self-motivated and hard working with a great work ethic

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Confident and able to work well under pressure
Organised and able to meet deadlines

Qualifications:
Fresher’s or individuals with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Mumbai candidates with a shipping course background or experience will be preferred.
